  • Hi Doc,
We came up with a very neat idea to drive patient traffic to the dental office with an Real Time Q&A and Online Appointment Booking System. We need some real beta testers, who better to test it other than the dentists users themselves. Let me know what you think of the idea. It is just a beta set up for now, so nothing is concrete yet until we get feedbacks from actual users. Please make suggestions from the practical side of the booking procedures. What are the features that you like to have in place so that a patient from your area actually get booked into your dental office. Through the surveys, we are going to tailor make the features to suit your requirements. For this weekend, if you have some time, please check it out at www.designsmile.com/new. Beta testing starts on Monday. Thanks in advance!
  • You can use Powerpoint and Word on the Mac platform , you must have Microsoft Office for Mac. Running windows on a Mac ii=can be a headache. There are enough issues without compounding by running through 2 operating systems. Keep Mac stuff on Macs... and Windows on PC's. Once you get comfortable with Keynote, you will love it.... Extremely versatile... letterbox dimensions are great!!!!for widw screen and 2 or three windows across screen..... good luck, Ed
  • Thank you for prompt reply!!
Presently i use a pc with microsoft office in my office.
I am thinking of purchasing the Macbook pro because of its qualities in graphics for my presentations.
Since my wife already has a Mackbook i wanted to use this opportunity and work with "keynote" just for the practice. So we have opened a "guest account" which was nice , but I was disappointed I couldnt save the files ...
Anyway i will look now at the link you sent to see what it is about.
And actually...I made up my mind to purchase the Macbook pro because I fell in love with keynote...
The next step will be to see if I can use microsoft windows without problem on the Mac. I heard its possible but has some problems.
In fact I wont mind buing the Mac just for my presentations...
  • Hi Nick
When I asked Cary F. who is the person to consult him about Mac. he gave me your name...and few others...however as we are both BU graduates its easier for me to chose you...
So can you tell me first if you are fammiliar with the "guest" option and if yes, is it true that once you shut down the computer all files on "guest" are automatically deleted. Thanks regards Cobi
