About Me
My name is Dr. Dave Carothers. I was born and raised here in Portland, Oregon. I went to highschool at Portland Adventist Academy. I attended Portland State University and then went on to attend dental school at Loma Linda University in California, of which I am now an associate professor. After graduating in 1980, I continued my education with advanced cosmetic dental procedures at the Las Vegas Institute For Advanced Cosmetic Studies. I then moved back to Portland to practice dentistry for 5 years under my father who is now a retired dentist. In 1985, I started my own practice, which still stands today in our current location. As advancements in dentistry continue to surface, my staff and I work very hard to keep up with what is going on. Incorporating new techniques and treatments into the practice enable us to provide the best comprehensive care for our patients.
