  • After the procedure the soreness and little discomfort will vanish in a day or two.

 

  1. How long does it take to recover from tooth extraction??
  • Soreness, swelling and discomfort will go after a day or two.
  • After the extraction for the gum tissues to heal it takes about 3 to 4 weeks and the bone takes upto 6months.

 

  1. What not to eat after tooth extraction??
  • Spicy, hot, acidic, crunchy foods should be avoided.
  • Ice-creams, juices, smoothies scrambled eggs can be eaten.
  • Tea, coffee should be avoided or cooled down to room temperature before consumption.

 

  1. What is your duty prior to the extraction?

        -Inform the doctor if you have any medical issues or are under any medications.
