I had this case with a broken canine bracket hook. Whatever force fractured the metal hook did not debond the bracket. I used Rely•a•Bond® self cure bracket adhesive by Reliance Orthodontic Products, Inc. Conclusion is that adhesive bond is stronger than metal? :-)
