About Me

I am a UCLA School of Dentistry graduate and I also completed a General Practice Residency at the Veteran's Administration Medical Center in San Diego, CA. I unfortunately lost the use of my dominant hand when I suffered a brain hemorrhage (left parietal lobe) and subsequent stroke several years ago. I was therefore unable to continue practicing clinical dentistry as a result of my disability....I struggle with hemiparesis (right side weakness)and post stroke seizures (now thankfully controlled with medication). However, I am extremely fortunate not to have been left with any cognitive deficits. I am thus very interested in exploring career opportunities in non-clinical dental/medical fields.
