Dr. Paichun (Patrick) Huang
Education
Dr. Huang is a certified Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) from the University of Texas, Health Science Center, Dental Branch, which is now called the Texas School of Dentistry. For him, Dentistry is not just a profession but is also his passion.
He aimed to pursue dentistry even before starting his medical education back in Japan. Dr. Huang also has been awarded a Ph.D. from the Kyushu Dental College in Japan.
He has also received professional training under Dr. Kevin J. Owoc in White Oak, Pennsylvania. Dr. Owoc, DMD, MSD, FAAID, DABO, is the founder and director of the Owoc institute.
He has also taken 300 courses consisting of over 500 credit hours and passed exams equal in difficulty to board certifications. Out of the 500 hours, he concentrated 200 hours on Dental Implants.
Experience
Dr. Huang is well known in the field of dentistry. He is a Fellow of the Academy of General Dentistry (FAGD). Only 6% of the top general dentists in the USA and Canada are recognized as AGD Fellows.
He also has published the "Relationship between lateral guidance and complication incidence in single implant-supported posterior crowns." His publication is printed in the Journal of Kyushu Dental Society.
Dr. Huang is also a member of the International Congress of Oral Implantologist (ICOI). He has delivered several presentations at the ICOI regarding dental implants.
Daily Life
Despite all the achievements and accolades, Dr. Huang is a family man. His leisure time priority is spending time with his family. When he gets free time from public service, he keeps track of his fitness. He enjoys hiking, biking, and paddling as hobbies.
