Oral health in America

Everyone is encouraged to participate by spreading the word about the positive effects daily brushing and flossing, regular dental visits, eating a healthy diet and avoiding tobacco products. This year’s campaign highlights “grandfamilies” or kinship care to address the oral health issues that impact young and older generations. Our mission is to change lives by connecting communities with resources to drive access to care, increase health literacy, and advocate for policies that improve overall health through better oral health for all Americans, especially those most vulnerable.

  • New studies have shown that people who don’t properly take care of their oral hygiene tend to suffer far worse problems than bad breath. Keep in mind that you have more bacteria in your mouth than there are people on Earth, so developing a proper oral care routine is significant for your overall health. You can help lower several other health risks by regularly brushing, rinsing, and flossing.
